As I write to you, I'm sitting in my new-to-me 82 year old house. Yes, the inhabitants of the Little Red House have relocated. We have finally done something we have wanted to do for a very long time. We moved back to the first city we called home together, and we are so, so happy. We are now in a little orange house and I absolutely love it.

Cate is going to be just fine! We went to our appointment on Monday with the specialist, and he said the tests ruled out any serious developmental disorders or diseases. Thank God! He said she does have low muscle tone but  will probably catch up within the next few months. I feel like I'm losing my mind! There is no relief from the heat. Night and day. 35-40 degree temperatures. Cooking is nearly impossible because with our gas oven it heats up the house immediately. I thought I would make a little tribute to her. Almost all of the pictures in the slideshow were taken exactly 1 month apart. Note how chubby she gets around 4 months, and then how the chub seems to disappear as she hits 11 months. (She's hardly gained a thing since she was 10 months old!)
