Welcome.

This is our first post, and our first time speaking electronically about our big surprise. We've had 14 weeks to let it sink in, and we have 26 weeks left to deal with the excitement. We set up this blog to let our family and friends keep updated on our lives, and most of what we experience during this important time.
So far, there hasn't really been too much to speak of. Carmen is still relatively small, and she's had no physical problems of any kind. We'll post pictures, thoughts and experiences so you can all join us on this crazy journey.
Besides pictures and news updates, I (David) will post my bi-weekly column from my campus newspaper which journals through the pregnancy.
We hope you all enjoy, and share your thoughts and advice.

  1. This is so exciting! Carmen you look gorgeous, you are going to be the prettiest pregnant lady in the world!

You guys will need to change your settings to allow all people to comment, and to get rid of those stupid ad's above, turn on word verification.

    I'm so excited!

I've only got a few seconds to comment on this FANTASTIC blog but I must say that this six-times-over-soon-to-be-seven Papa is more than just a little excited about all this "stuff".
You guys are to be commended for being SO transparent about your pregnancy - when your Mom was pregnant we would need to whisper the word pregnabt so that we wouldn't offend anyone...
I/we will be reading this blog regularly - great job on the school paper articles David! I knew you were funny but not this funny and all of this with a surname that is being misspelled.
