Cheesy Face and Little Teeth
Ahh, that's great.
I just noticed I wrote "ta da for now" instead of "ta ta for now" at the end of my last post. David always laughs at the way I misuse words. Yeah. really funny.
While I'm posting, I thought some of you nice blog friends might enjoy seeing our little monkey.
The picture in the striped pajamas is my favorite. This is her new face that she makes nearly all day long.
The picture in the highchair was to show you her little lone tooth. It looks like there are two more on the way.
And the little thing has learned to kiss. She will lean in very sweetly and let you give her a big smooch. it's awfully cute. It's tempting to do nothing else! However, she will give you a nice push in the mouth if she's not in the mood. She's also been known to kiss herself in the mirror and show some love to her stuffed animals.
She has also learned to hide. She is so funny! She will cover one eye and expect you to say "Where's Cate?" and then she laughs and does it again. Today she was hiding behind a red tower toy. She would put it up to her face and hide behind it and then pop out. ohhh...let me tell you, she is a smarty pants. :) Of course, right?
For those who are wondering, she is STILL not moving. She has ZERO interest in getting around. I hope she decides it is worth it at some point in her young life. We try to convince her how much cooler the world is when you move, but to no avail. she's got a mind of her own, of that there is no question.
Oh my she is SO cute. Don't you love the little games???Aria has learned please and thank you in sign language(which I'm not all hardcore about, but Leon taught her and it's cute) and if she's tired she'll do all her tricks at once to get you to leave her alone - please, thank you, where's my nose, roar. So cute. How big is she now? Seriously they move OVERNIGHT. From 0-60 in about 8 hrs. Enjoy the solitude. Aria still has no teeth!
ReplyDeletehi carmen! I can't believe all the fun things Cate is doing! They grow up so fast. She is so smart already. Your cruise looked like a riot. I'd love to go on one.
ReplyDeletehello! Jenna, the cruise WAS so fun!
ReplyDeleteAlison, she weighs 18lbs. Exactly triple her birth weight. Aria is such a teensy one! and those teeth are nasty little things-but they are awfully cute.
Oh, and Alison, we are working on where is your nose? Sometimes when you ask her she will squish her nose up, but she hasn't pointed to it yet. Please and thank you is so sweet!
ReplyDeletei was just thinking today that i was DYING to see cate and you have made my wish come true!!! she is so fun and cute! i think it may be time for another visit. i think she needs to re-meet me.
ReplyDeleteany new plans in the works?
p.s. sigh. the cruise... sigh. love the pics.
Your daughter is so beautiful! She sounds like the sweetest little thing.
ReplyDeleteI wish you all tons of happiness in the future :)

Oh my gosh...this is the most bizarre thing that I've found your little family on Blogger! This is Karyn Lucas...from way back in PMCC days...do you remember? What a precious little family you have, and you live just down the road from me! My husband and I are in Calgary! What are you guys up to in Lethbridge? My husband went to the U of L for a couple years and we've got lots of friends in the area...might have to stop in sometime and say hello! Glad to see you're doing well.
