Hi there everyone and Merry almost Christmas!
Does anyone even look at this blog anymore? I know Kristin does... :) I keep telling myself I should just call it a night and forget about it because I am so awful at updating, but then I will take a super cute picture of the little bug and I decide to post again. sigh. ahhh, well.

This post is taking me a very long time to write as I am constantly entertaining Cate with my own rendition of Baby Beluga ( there are so many words to remember!) so that I can hold her off from eating until I finish. Dont' worry, I'm normally very attentive!

So we are busy(?) trying to figure out what do with our lives. I used to think that it would be amazing not to be in school and to have freedom to do what we wanted. but now that we are in it, it is not so easy! Im sure most, or at least some of you have heard about the problems we are having immigrating to England. It turns out they don't believe that we are ever going to leave their country so they aren't sure they want to let us in! We have recently been told that it may take 6 months to even hear whether we are granted entry. So we just aren't sure we want to bother anymore. It is so hard to wait and wonder. But if we don't go then we have a lot to figure out. and that is where we stand right now. There is so little opportunity in Lethbridge for us right now. So we feel like we would still love to live internationally....somewhere. So we are just trying to research things.

Cate is so ridiculously cute. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her! She is eating some finger foods, saying "dada" and "mama" (though I really dont' think she knows what she means) and sleeping so great. But she has apparently decided she is not going to bother with teeth. Or moving around. haha. well. I think when she moves she will opt for the bum scoot rather than the crawl. -unless anyone knows a way to get a baby to crawl that refuses to be on her stomach? She has picked up a nasty cold and has learned way too quickly how to hide her face from those tissues!

The picture of her with the red jacket on was taken at her baby christmas party. It was very fun-except that she cried the whole time. The naked picture was taken when she was exactly 8 months old. Look at those delicious rolls! And she is learning to stand with furniture. AndI added one last one that David took as I was writing this. Look how well I multi-task! haha.
