Waiting

38 weeks:
Ahh! So funny! I started making a post a few days ago and was having trouble loading any images. I just closed blogger thinking I deleted the post. Then I came back to it and saw that all I had written was "Waiting" and 38 weeks- and you kind blogger friends still commented! hee hee. Anyways, this is what the post was supposed to be!

So yes, here I am. Very, very pregnant. David took these pictures and I'm so happy to have them this close to when the baby arrives. I am definitely ready to hold her in my arms! Cate was a surprise delivery at 36 weeks, and my water just broke, so there was no questioning that labor was starting. This time, however, I am having contractions left and right and I never know when they're real! I was positively convinced that it was time last night, but just as soon as thought the contractions were regular and getting stronger, they stopped! But it can't be too long from now! The little ticker thing on here is actually not correct, i'm actually due on October 4th, leaving me with only 11 days left. And let's not even think about going late!

Here is a little picture of my beautiful doll. I can't believe she is going to be a big sister. I admit to finding it a wee bit hard to imagine her losing her place as the baby of the house. I just want to keep her like this forever! She is absolutely thrilled about the baby and asks me to tell her stories all the time. She thinks it is very funny that her baby sister is naked inside my tummy :)

So hopefully I will have news for you soon. really soon? That'd be even better!
